Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Ace on Tech (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you visit aceontech.ch or our presale page, join our launch list, reserve AceBand, join Ace Community, enter a Challenge, or contact us — and what we do with it.

1. Who we are

Ace on Tech is an independent product development project based in Switzerland, operated by its founder, Yuri Bombello. Our commercial structure is being set up and registration details will be published on our Legal Notice once available. We are responsible for the processing described here. 2. Data we collect

• Launch list. Your email address when you sign up for launch updates or the launch discount.
• $1 reservation. Your email address and the details needed to process the payment. Payments are handled by the payment provider of our presale platform; we never receive your full card number.
• Ace Community. Your account details (such as name, username and email), your Instagram username if you provide it, and the activity you choose to share in the Community.
• Challenge entries. Your entry video, score, Instagram username and email address.
• Messages. What you write to us through our contact form or by email.
• Technical data. Standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) and the cookies described in our Cookie Policy.

AceBand itself works without an app, an account or an internet connection. Match and training data recorded on the watch stays on the watch and is not sent to us.

3. How we use your data

• To send launch updates, reservation perks and VIP information you signed up for.
• To process your $1 reservation and, later, your order.
• To run your Ace Community account.
• To verify Challenge entries, pick the winner and deliver the prize. Entry videos are used only for this and are never sent to our email provider.
• To answer your questions and keep our services secure.

We do not sell your personal data. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in every email.

4. Legal basis

We process personal data in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for people in the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Depending on the purpose, we rely on your consent (launch emails), the performance of a contract (reservations, orders, Community accounts, Challenge entries), or our legitimate interest in running and securing our services.

5. Service providers

We share data only with the providers we need to run Ace on Tech:

• Supabase — database and login for Ace Community and Challenge entries.
• SmartPush — launch and VIP emails.
• Resend — emails sent from our contact form.
• LaunchKit (LaunchBoom) and its payment provider — the presale page and the $1 reservation.
• Meta — the presale page may use Meta advertising technology to measure our ads.
• Our website hosting provider.

Some of these providers are located outside Switzerland, including in the United States. Where that is the case, we rely on the safeguards recognised under Swiss and EU data protection law.

6. How long we keep data

Launch list data is kept until you unsubscribe. Reservation and order data is kept as long as needed for the reservation and as required by law. Community data is kept while your account exists. Challenge entry videos are deleted within 90 days after the winner is announced, except the winning entry, which we keep as proof of the result.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to receive a copy of it, or to object to or restrict its processing, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Write to hello@aceontech.ch. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, such as the Swiss FDPIC.

8. Age

Our services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data directly from them. Players under 18 can take part in Challenges only through a parent or legal guardian, who submits the entry with their own contact details. If you believe a child has sent us personal data without that permission, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new “last updated” date.
